Here are some answers to my most frequently asked questions. If you have any more questions, please use the contact page to email me.
All sales are final. If an item arrives defective, please contact the store within 7 days of receiving your package. Please make sure to read each item's description thoroughly. It will list all the materials used. There will also be measurements listed in the description and/or a photo with a coin and/or ruler to help show size. If at any time you have concerns about an item you have purchased, please feel free to contact my store.
The checkout process is powered by PayPal, one of the most trusted online payment solutions on the web. Through PayPal you can pay with a major credit card even if you do not have a PayPal account.
If you have a problem with an order from my store, please contact me directly through the Contact page.
I ship anywhere the USPS allows. Make sure to select the correct shipping method at checkout. Please note it is the customer's responsibility to pay any import fees/duties/VAT.
Shipping fees will be displayed in the cart once you select an option. It is based on the shipping method selected and how many items are purchased. Please make sure your email address is entered correctly.
In stock items will be shipped within 1-3 business days after payment is received. Items are shipped from Alaska, USA. Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 5 business days to arrive, as long as there aren't any postal delays. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks. Typically it is around 2-5 weeks, but sometimes packages can take longer to arrive.
Custom order items may take longer to be ready to ship. I will contact you by email to give an estimated time of when your order will be ready to ship. This will depend on how many items you ordered and current orders already placed.
Unfortunately, I have no control of the package after it is handed over to the USPS. If you have paid for Priority mail (domestic), it is insured for up to $50 in case the package is lost/damaged. You will need to file a missing package claim with the USPS. You will need to supply the tracking number for the package. First Class mail is not insured. And First Class International mail is also not insured. If you need my assistance in helping the USPS to locate your package, please contact the store.
If you would like to make sure your package is insured for the full amount of your purchase, please contact me prior to placing your order. I can create and send a PayPal invoice instead of making a purchase through the website.
International orders, Priority mail is available and does include insurance. If you would like to get a quote to send a purchase with Priority mail, please send me an email through the Contact form prior to making a purchase. Typically the shipping fee for this service starts around $36. Insurance is for up to $200. Insurance is not available to all locations.
ALLERGY DISCLAIMER
Some people are allergic to the metals and finishes commonly used in making jewelry. It is the responsibility of the consumer to be aware of any allergies he or she may have to metals (gold, silver, copper, etc.) or the oxidation applied to metals (perma blue, liver of sulfur, and/or eggs) prior to making a purchase. Because there is no way for us to know the medical history of our customers, Color Wheel Crafts will not be held liable for any allergic reactions that may occur as a result of wearing our jewelry.
CHOKING HAZARD
Many of my designs contain small component parts such as charms and beads, which may present a choking hazard if ingested. As a result, jewelry from my store should always be kept out of the reach of young children or other individuals likely to ingest the jewelry or its component parts. Jewelry should never be worn in the shower, pool or bed, and it should never be placed in the mouth due to risk of choking.
This depends on the type of wire that was used.
1. If craft wire (coated/colored copper wire) was used, do not try to polish the wire. This can result in any coatings/color on the wire to be removed.
2. If bare copper wire, brass wire, silver filled wire, sterling silver, or fine silver wire were used, you can gently polish the wire with a cloth made for those specific metals (I use Sunshine cloths--yellow color). Placing the item in an air tight storage bag may help delay tarnishing.
3. Do not use any cleaning solutions/paste on your items. Many of these would be too strong for the stones used and can damage them.
4. Make sure to keep your items away from anything sharp that can mar/scratch the wire.
5. Handle with care. If your jewelry item gets caught on clothing/fabric, please take care in trying to remove it. Do not yank it as this can cause the wire to break. Do not drop your jewelry item. This can cause the stones/beads used to be broken/cracked.
Please note that actual color may vary due to differences in devices/settings. I cannot control how your device is showing the color. I do, however, make sure that photos on my end accurately represent the color of the item. If you have any questions about the color of an item, please message the store.
•I wash and sanitize my hands and work space before creating.
•I wash and sanitize my hands before packaging up orders.
•If the item itself can be washed, I will do that too. Unfortunately, some of the materials I use cannot be washed.
•If I cough/sneeze I cover with my arm. And then wash hands before continuing with my creating.
Any time I go to handle my product or package items up, I am making sure to wash my hands and sanitize the area I am working in. This is how I have always handled product/orders before Covid-19.
